Course Overview
The BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management offers experienced leaders and middle management with the latest practical approaches and strategies for successful leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals who complete this qualification will already have a level of initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others, however this course will add a new level of depth to this knowledge, drawing inspiration from relevant case studies and situations.
Managers will use the communication skills learnt in this qualification to better support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements. They will plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.
This Nationally Recognised Qualification will also provide the participant with the skills to take responsibility for the effective functioning and performance of the team and its work outcomes. applying solutions to a defined range of predictable and unpredictable problems, analysing and evaluating information from a variety of sources.

Recommended Experience
- BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management or other relevant qualification OR
- Vocational experience but without formal supervision or management qualification
