The Public Sector Commission (PSC) launched its 2015 Indigenous Traineeship Program with 34 new employees commencing work last week.
All trainees took part in a three day induction with the PSC, with Aspire delivering a half day workshop to all trainees and supervisors on Friday 10th July 2015.
As part of this program trainees are hosted to various Government Agencies with in the WA Metropolitan area for the duration of their 12 month contract. This is a fantastic model that supports trainees to learn new skills in the workplace with a very supportive working environment.
Aspire will be meeting with all of the trainees in the workplace in the coming weeks and running a series of workshops as part of the program. We are looking forward to working with all of the trainees, the PSC and all the host agencies involved.
