  • Mandatory CPD Points

    Aspire is a registered provider for Real Estate CPD Mandatory sessions for 2019.

    A breakdown of 2019 topics as outlined by the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety are:

    Licensed Agents – Residential Focus

    • Managing Risk in your Agency
      • Part A: New family and domestic violence provisions in the Residential Tenancies Act 1987
      • Part B: Business management practices for licensees

    Sales Representatives – Residential Focus

    • Review of the sign up to settlement process aimed at minimising potential disputes

    Property Managers – Residential Focus

    • Managing risk for residential property managers:
      • Part A: Practical application of new family and domestic violence amendments in the Residential Tenancies Act 1987
      • Part B: Review of legislative requirements for disposal and storage of abandoned goods in residential tenancies

    Agents, Sales Representatives and Property Managers – Commercial Focus

    • Managing risk in commercial leasing, sales and business broking – focus on disclosure – (3 hrs)
      • Refresher of disclosure requirements in commercial sales and leasing
      • Changes to the Commercial Building Disclosure Program
      • Identifying dangers in commercial buildings/properties for sale or lease

  • Want to become a Licensed Agent?

    Are you thinking of running your own Real Estate office now or in the future?  To become a licensed agent you must not only hold a Diploma of Property Services (Agency Management) but also:

    • be at least 18 years old;
    • be a person of good character and repute and a fit and proper person to hold a license (see below);
    • have access to sufficient assets and financial resources enabling them to comply with all the requirements of the Real Estate and Business Agents Act 1978; and
    • understand fully the duties and obligations imposed upon agents by the Real Estate and Business Agents Act 1978.

    Aspire  offers the following units required for completion to become a registered Sales Representative through the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety for an investment of $1,000.

    • CPPDSM4003A – Appraise property
    • CPPDSM4007A – Identify legal and ethical requirements of property management to complete agency work
    • CPPDSM4008A – Identify legal and ethical requirements of property sales to complete agency work
    • CPPDSM4012A – List property for sale
    • CPPDSM4014A – Market property for sale
    • CPPDSM4022A – Sell and finalise the sale of property by private treaty
    • CPPDSM4080A – Work in the real estate industry
